OBITUARY

Maida L. Snyder, 93 of Ellsworth, PA passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017.
She was born January12, 1924 in Ellsworth, PA a daughter of the late Robert and Annie McNulty Lowther. 
Mrs. Snyder was a 1941 graduate of Ellsworth High School and also attended Penn Commercial. 
She was employed as an office manager for Jessop Steel during WWII and later worked as a secretary/book keeper at Mon Valley Memorial Park and Yenko Chevrolet in Bentleyville. 
On August 13, 1945 she married Charles L. Snyder who died September 16, 1978.
Maida was a lifetime member of the Bentleyville Presbyterian Church and a member of Bentleyville American Legion Post #165 Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling in the Senior League at the former Tan-O-Bell Lanes and fishing with her husband.
Surviving are three daughters, Roberta Snyder of Mentor, OH, Maida Baugh (Charlie) of Flemington, MO and Dana Coleman (Steve) of Clayton, NC; one grandson, Wesley Coleman also of Clayton, NC; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are four brothers and three sisters, two of which died in infancy. 
Friends will be received Friday, September 15, 2017 from 10 AM to 1 PM, the time of service in the Greenlee Funeral Home 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA with Rev. Andy Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
