OBITUARY

Clarissa Lorraine Zibrida, 85, of Washington, formerly of McKeesport, died Tuesday, May 5, 2009, in McKeesport Hospital.

She was born February 27, 1924, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of William and Bessie Plues Cooley.

Mrs. Zibrida was a homemaker who enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, reading and playing bingo.

She was Catholic by faith.

In 1956, she married Martin Zibrida, who died in 1974.

Surviving are a son, James Zibrida of Wisconsin; two brothers, Charles Cooley of Concord, California, and Walter Cooley of Detroit, Michigan; a sister, Dorothy Meridith of St. Petersburg, Florida; a grandchild, Christopher Zibrida; and two great-grandchildren.

Deceased is a daughter who died in infancy; five sisters, Margaret Marchand, Betty Bosnick, Ethel M. Sellers, Salinda Nicholson and Mary Twardon; and a brother, Edward Cooley.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where blessing service will be held at 10 a.m, Friday, May 8th, with Bishop John Mack officiating. Burial will follow in Beallsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
