Ruth T. Carl, age 82 of Vestaburg, PA died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2004 in White's Personal Care Home, Centerville, PA following a long illness.
She was born September 25, 1921 in Millsboro, PA a daughter of the late John and Stella Doney Armstrong.
On October 10, 1942 she married John A. Carl who died July 21, 1995.
Mrs. Carl worked 23 years for K-Mart having retired in 1986. She was a member of the Beth-Center Senior Citizens and former Vestaburg Presbyterian Church.
Surviving is a sister Margaret Mylan of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her husband are one sister Helen Cowie and two brothers John and William Armstrong.

Services will be held on Friday, June 18, 2004 in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 42 Bank St. at Crawford Rd., Fredericktown, PA with Rev. Paul Grunebach officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville, PA.
