Joshephine Belski died Saturday October 8, 2011 peacefully at the Humbert Lane Nursing Home.
She was born August 1, 1923 to the late John and Julia Takacs Bercik in Daisytown, Pa. 
Mrs. Belski was a life long resident of Cloverhill (Daisytown) and a current resident of Humbert Lane Rehabilitation and Nursing Home. 
She was a lifelong member of the Daisytown Presbyterian Church where she was an elder and past president of the ladies aide. 
Mrs. Belski was known as the “Cake Lady” as she was a self employed baker baking wedding cakes, birthday cakes and cakes for all occasions as well as cookies and pastries.
She was the wife of Peter P. Belski, Sr. who died September 18, 1980. 
Surviving are her three children - Peter Belski, Jr. (Jean), Gloria Backner (Bob – Richard) and David Belski (Dori) all of Daisytown. She had five Grandsons - Ronald Fisher of Daisytown, Pa., Timothy Belski (Tracy) of Union Bridge, MD, Drew Belski (Theresa) of Beaver Falls, Pa., Brian Backner of Uniontown and Dr. Casey Belski (Shannon) of Pittsburgh, Pa. She had five great grandchildren - Hannah, Nicholas John, Christopher, Nicholas Edward, and Callie Master. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 
Deceased in addition her parents and husband is three sisters - Elizabeth Kundrick, Julia King, and Irene Sustrick and two brothers - Alfred and Steve Bercik and a niece - Carolyn King Kash. Josephine was the last of her immediate family.
Friends will be received from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday October 10, 2011 in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA where services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday October 11, 2011. Interment will be in the Beallsville Cemetery.
