OBITUARY

Ralph J. Dorazio. 91 of Scenery Hill, PA died Thursday August 25, 2011 in the IHS Greenery, Canonsburg.
He was born October 31, 1919 in Monongahela, PA a son of the late Anthony and Theresa Tegnelia Dorazio.
A coal miner, Mr. Dorazio was employed by the Bethlehem Mines Corp. Mine #51 in Ellsworth, PA where he retired with over 45 years of service. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America Local 1197.
Mr. Dorazio was a lifelong member of the Ave Maria Parish, Bentleyville.
He enjoyed his big garden, spending time at his camp in Elk County, golfing, hunting, fishing, working out at the 84 Fitness Center, swimming at California University, bowling with the Tan-O-Bell Senior Bowling League, watching the Pittsburgh Pirates, Penguins and Steelers, but most of all, he loved watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren in all of their sporting activities.
On October 21, 1939 he married Jean Contestible Dorazio who died November 29, 2004.
Surviving are three children – Dominic Dorazio (Patty) of Houston, PA, Dolores Powell of Fairbanks, AK and Regina Cicci of Washington, PA; One brother – Angelo Dorazio (Cil) of Bentleyville; Sister in law – Margaret Dorazio of Washington, PA; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his wife and parents are two brothers, James and Dominic Dorazio.

Friends will be received 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM Monday in the Greenlee Funeral Home 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA where services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday August 30, 2011. Interment will be in the Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the HIS Greenery of Canonsburg, 2200 Hill Church Houston Road, Canonsburg, PA 15317.
