OBITUARY
Thomas Smith Jr. U.S. Army veteran and
self-employed land surveyor Thomas Smith Jr., 86, of Bentleyville, died Saturday, June 25, 2011, in White's Personal Care Home, Marianna. He was born March 8, 1925, in Bentleyville, a son of the late Thomas and Mary Puskarich Smith. Mr. Smith was a 1943 graduate of Bentleyville High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. Mr. Smith was a self-employed land surveyor for more than 30 years. He was a member of Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 354 in Cokeburg and SNPJ Club in Imperial. A brother, John Donald Smith of Bentleyville, survives. Deceased, in addition to his parents, are two sisters, Kathryn Kollar and Marjorie Smith, and two brothers, George Smith and Frank C. Smith. Private services are under the direction of Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville. The family suggests contributions to a charity of one's choice.
