Thomas Smith Jr.

U.S. Army veteran and

self-employed land surveyor

Thomas Smith Jr., 86, of Bentleyville, died Saturday, June 25, 2011, in White's Personal Care Home, Marianna.

He was born March 8, 1925, in Bentleyville, a son of the late Thomas and Mary Puskarich Smith.

Mr. Smith was a 1943 graduate of Bentleyville High School.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War.

Mr. Smith was a self-employed land surveyor for more than 30 years.

He was a member of Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 354 in Cokeburg and SNPJ Club in Imperial.

A brother, John Donald Smith of Bentleyville, survives.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, are two sisters, Kathryn Kollar and Marjorie Smith, and two brothers, George Smith and Frank C. Smith.
