Mary Kerns Sizemore Capozza, 77 of Richeyville, PA died Tuesday February 22, 2011 in her home.
She was born July 23, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of the late Bernard “Boyd” and Mary Koshar Kerns.
In 1993 she retired from the Meadows Race Track after 17 years of service.
Mrs. Capozza attended the Garwood Baptist Church.
She enjoyed ceramics, spending time with her family and her dog, Jewel.
Surviving is one son, Douglas Sizemore and one daughter, Donna Sizemore Stark, both of Richeyville; Two brothers – Felix Kerns of Bentleyville and John Kerns of Ellsworth; Three sisters – Margaret Vinansky and Bridgertt Kerns both of Eighty Four and Sara Billups of Ellsworth; Four grandchildren – Nicole Tyhonas Tretinik, Jason Tyhonas (Heather), Bradley John Sizemore, Kaylin Sizemore; Four great grandchildren – Lindsay and Sydney Tretinik, Colin and Cole Tyhonas; Several nieces and nephews: Her best friend, Mary Shemansky.
Deceased is her husband, Talmadge Sizemore; One daughter – Linda Carroll; One son – Bradley Sizemore: Two brothers – Bernard and Charles Kerns; One sister – Cecelia Blackburn.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 & 6 to 9PM Thursday in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA where services will be held Friday February 25, 2011 at 12:30 PM with Pastor Cliff Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in the Beallsville Cemetery.
