Anna Polensky

Anna Polensky, age 87 of Eighty Four, PA (Ontario) died at 10:20 pm Thursday January 22, 2004 in Rebecca Residence, Allison Park, PA. She was born December 9, 1916 in Canonsburg, PA a daughter of Michael and Mary Lacoski Sklarski. Mrs. Polensky was employed by the Century Inn in Scenery Hill and formerly owned and operated the Little Summit Restuarant on Rt 40 in North Bethlehem Twp. She was a member of the Ave Maria Parish, Bentleyville and formerly belonged to the Rosary Society of the St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Cokeburg. Surviving is 1 Daughter - Sister Melania Polensky of the Sisters of St. Joseph in Baden, PA; 1 Brother - Charles Sklarski of Clearwater, FL; 2 Sisters - Mary Chandler of Jacksonville, FL, Kathryn Gormley of Annandale, VA; Several Nieces and Nephews Deceased is her husband, John Polensky who died July 6, 1961and a son J. Robert Polensky who died August 25, 2001; 1 Sister - Rose Marie Polensky died in infancy.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9pm Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Monday in the Greenlee Funeral Home 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA where a Prayer Service will be held at 10:30am Tuesday January 27, 2004 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in the Ave Maria Parish, Bentleyville with Rev. John B. Lendvai as Celebrant. Interment will be held in Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville, PA.
