OBITUARY

Tracy M. Doman, Jr. 82 of Clarksville, PA (Sandy Plains) died Friday July 15, 2011 in the Washington Hospital.
He was born December 2, 1928 in Donegal Twp. a son of the late Tracy M. Doman, Sr. and Hilda S. Ryan Doman.
Mr. Doman was a 1946 graduate of Centerville High School.
He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of the Korean War. For his service he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal with 2 Stars and the United Nations Service Medal.
In 1990, after 42 years of service, he retired from Black Top Paving Co. where he worked as the Plant Manager.
Mr. Doman was a lifelong active member of the East Bethlehem Baptist Church, Deemston where he served as the church Treasurer for 60 years. He also taught Sunday School, served as a Trustee and Deacon of his church.
He was a 57 year member of the Hanson-Cole American Legion Post 391, Fredericktown and was a member of the Beth-Center Senior Citizens, Vestaburg, where he and his wife delivered Meals on Wheels for over 22 years. Mr. Doman was always willing to help anyone in any way that he could.
Watching Nascar Racing was one of his favorite past times. He especially enjoyed watching the races with his daughter Susie.
On December 16, 1948 he married Dolores C. Harden Doman, who survives. They have enjoyed 62 years of marriage.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Robin L. “Rusty” Doman and his wife Cindy of Amity, PA, grandsons, Patrick L. Doman and Sean R. Doman, both of Amity; Daughter Susan Gunchuck and her husband John of Deemston, granddaughter Courtney L. Geller Kubicar and her husband Michael, great granddaughter, Caridee G. Kubicar of Deemston; One brother, Owen R. Doman and his wife Gayle of Knoxville, TN; Three sisters, Opal Ross of Derry, PA, Joye Harbaugh of Clarksville (Sandy Plains) and Norma Karanovich and her husband Danny of Marietta, GA; Several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to his parents is a brother, William L. Doman and a sister Mabel Jane Doman, who died in infancy.

Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA where service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday July 19, 2011 with Pastor George Lammay officiating. Interment will follow in the Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Beth-Center Senior Citizens Center Vestaburg, PA 15368 or the East Bethlehem Baptist Church, c/o Barbara Teagarden, 2629 Martindale Road, Marianna, PA 15345, or the Fredericktown Area Library, PO Box 62 Fredericktown, PA 15333. Full Military Rites will be accorded by the Hanson-Cole American Legion Post 391, Fredericktown.
