Eva Martos, 81 of Eighty Four, PA (Ontario) died Saturday, August 18, 2007 in the Washington Hospital.
She was born January 20, 1926 in St. Clairsville, OH, a son of the late Joseph and Frances Cech Borovich.
Mrs. Martos was employed for over 18 years as a cook at the Century Inn of Scenery Hill and also cooked at the 84 Auction and various auctions in the local area. She was a lifelong member of the Ave Maria Parish of Bentleyville, the Croatian Fraternal Union St. George Lodge #354 of Cokeburg, Croatian Club Bowling League, and sang with the St. George Adult Tamburitzans. She enjoyed spending time with family and cooking.
Surviving is one son, August “Bo” Martos, Jr. and wife Mary Jane Phillips of Ruffsdale, PA, one daughter Carol “Bunny” Huffman and husband William of Beallsville, PA, six grandchildren; Michele McMillan, Kimberly Martos, Daniel Martos, Billy Huffman, Christopher Huffman and Jeremy Phillips; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents is her husband, August “Gus” Martos, Sr. who died November 3, 1988.

Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, PA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at a time to be announced. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery.
