Anna Zwirek
General Electric retiree was active volunteer
Anna Zwirek, 96, of Ellsworth, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010, in Bentleyville Personal Care Home.
She was born December 14, 1913, in McKees Rocks, Allegheny County, a daughter of Michael and Antonette Kmetyk Zwirek.
Mrs. Zwirek retired from General Electric in Cleveland, Ohio, and for several years, she was an active volunteer with Red Cross in Cleveland.
She was Roman Catholic.
Mrs. Zwirek was a member of Bentworth Senior Citizens.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three brothers, Joe, John and Walter Zwirek; a sister, Helen Erickson; two half brothers, Mike and Paul Zwirek; and two half sisters, Catherine Hool and Mary Romansky.
Private services will be held at Beallsville Cemetery with the Rev. Gary W. Krummert, pastor of Ave Maria Parish, officiating.
