OBITUARY

John A. Zaharsky, 89 of Bethel Park, PA passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 in his home.
He was born November 20, 1927 in Brownsville, PA a son of the late John and Anna Vgorcak Zaharsky. 
Mr. Zaharsky was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
A self -employed brick layer, Mr. Zaharsky co-owned and operated Vislosky and Zaharsky Contracting for over 25 years. 
Mr. Zaharsky enjoyed woodworking and especially building bird houses. Spending time with his grandchildren was especially important to him.
On May 27, 1954 he married Catherine Vislosky Zaharsky who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Karen Gordon of Bethel Park and Deborah Funtal (Timothy) of Beallsville; three grandchildren, Ashley and Audra Gordon and Amber Marody (Dillon); one great grandson, Chevy Marody; one sister Juliann Zmuda (Joseph) of Richeyville; one brother Ronald Zaharsky of Missouri; several nieces and nephews. 
Deceased in addition to his parents are two brothers Eugene and Michael Zaharsky.
Friends will be received Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 11 AM to 1 PM, the time of a Blessing Service in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home 2830 Main St. Beallsville with Rev. Edward L. Yuhas, Administrator St. Katharine Drexel Parish officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
