Betty J. Stenson, 78 of Richeyville, PA died Friday, May 18, 2007 in the Mon Valley Hospital.
She was born April 24, 1929 in Ellsworth, PA a daughter of Alva and Maude Steele Carson.
Mrs. Stenson was a 1947 graduate of Ellsworth High School and a member of the United States Bowling Congress. She enjoyed reading, traveling, bowling and was an avid Steeler Fan.
Surviving are 3 sons, Edward T. Stenson of Aliquippa, PA, Mark Stenson of White Haven, PA and Michael Stenson of Okinawa, Japan; 1 daughter Tracy Henson of Ansbach, Germany, 2 brothers, Charles Carson of Miami, FL and Kenneth Carson of Aurora, OH; 3 Sisters, Wilma Dormo of Bentleyville, PA, Dolores and Hilda Crockett of Miami, FL 12 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, and several Nieces and Nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents is her husband Edward P. Stenson who died April 8, 1981.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 9pm in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, PA where services will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Andy Scott officiating. Interment will be in the Beallsville Cemetery.
