OBITUARY

Bruno J. Lemonovich

Bruno J. Lemonovich, age 85 of Fredericktown, PA (Centerville Boro.) died at 12:40am Friday January 7, 2005 in the Washington County Health Center. He was born January 14, 1919 in Daisytown, PA a son of William and Dorothy Duboska Lemonovich. Mr. Lemonovich was a U.S.Army Veteran of WWII serving as a Reconnaissance Specialist with the 631st Tank Destroyer Battalion. He served in England, France, Luxemborg and Germany. He was a member of the Hancock-McCune-Horne American Legion Post 705 of Centerville, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Athletic Club of Daisytown. Mr. Lemonovich was a member of the St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Richeyville. He was formerly employed by the J&L Vesta 4 Mine and the Maple Creek Mine of U.S.Steel Corp. In 1975 he retired from J&L Steel Aliquippa Works and was a member of both the United Mine Workers of America and the United Steel Workers of America. On August 16, 1946 he married Helen Makusenka Lemonovich who died July 10, 2004. Surviving is a son William G. Lemonovich and his wife Mary of Monongahela, PA. A brother, John Lemonovich of Richeyville, PA and a sister, Effie Kurtik of Thousand Oaks, CA. Deceased in addition to his wife is a granddaughter, Nicole Lynn Lemonovich who died October 30, 2001.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Sunday in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home 2830 Main St. Beallsville, Pa where a Blessing Service will be held at 10:30am Monday January 10, 2005 with Rev. Francis Jurewicz officiating. Interment will be in the Beallsville Cemetery. Military Rites will be accorded by the Hancock-McCune-Horne American Legion Post 705 of Centerville.
