Wilma "Dale" McCarty Kozik

Wilma "Dale" McCarty Kozik, 86, of Evergreen Assisted living formerly of Fredericktown (Deemston Boro.) died Thursday December 30, 2004 in Humbert Lane Health Care Center following a lengthy illness. She was born December 18, 1918 in Deemston Boro. a daughter of the late Clyde and Myrtle Snyder McCarty. Mrs. Kozik was a 1936 graduate of Beallsville High School and enjoyed attending all of the alumni reunions. She had been a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church for over 60 years and was also a member of the United Methodist Women. On August 24, 1942 she married Paul Kozik who died on November 14, 1990. Surviving are a daughter, Paula Sibert and her husband Bill of Melbourne, Fla. with whom Dale spent the winters, two grandsons, William Paul and Ryan Scott Sibert both of Melbourne, Fla., a second daughter, Pamela Kozik King lives in Charleston, WV; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kozik was the last of her immediate family. Deceased in addition to her husband and her parents are four sisters, Blanche Hawkins, Thelma Jones, Louise Keys, Sara Hess, and three brothers, Henry, Russell, and Archie McCarty. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9pm Sunday and Monday in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 42 Bank St. at Crawford Rd. Fredericktown, where services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday January 4, 2005 with Rev. Gary Gregg officiating. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery.
