Gladys E. Brown Repinski

Gladys E. Brown Repinski, 84, of Richeyville died Monday December 10, 2007 in the Washington County Health Center following an extended illness. She was born October 27, 1923 in Centerville a daughter of the late George A. and Mary Brown Sr. Mrs. Repinski along with her husband Ray owned and operated the Roscoe Hotel in Roscoe, Pa. during the late 1940’s. In the early 1950’s they moved to Richeyville and owned and operated Brown’s Dairy Bar. Following the death of her husband Mrs. Repinski established and operated the Richeyville Laundromat and Dry Cleaners. Upon her retirement in 1981 she moved to Phoenix, AZ. Gladys was a very loving and kind, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a very special person who left a lasting impression on many. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, son, and grandsons. Surviving is one daughter, Mary E. Bennett and husband James L. of Richeyville, one son, Raymond A. Repinski of Pensacola, Fla., four grandsons, Brian McAchren of Fredericktown, Eric McAchren of Pittsburgh, Ryan Repinski and wife Trisha of Pittsburgh, Russell Repinski of Pittsburgh, two sisters, Dorothy Faieta and husband Nicky of Fredericktown, Georgine Barrett of Marco Island, Fla. and many nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents is her husband Raymond A. Repinski, Sr. who died May 25, 1974, two sisters, Mary Orlandi & Marie Colantoni, and one brother, George Brown Jr. Friends will be received Thursday from 4-8pm in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main St. Beallsville where funeral services will be held Friday December 14, 2007 at 11:00am with Rev. James Markley officiating. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery.
