Grace Marie Deneen Petrisek

Grace Marie Deneen Petrisek, 83, of Bentleyville, died Monday, August 1, 2005. She was born January 14, 1922, in Naomi, PA, Westmoreland County, a daughter of the late George W. and Myrtle Welch Deneen.

A graduate of Marion High School class of 1940, she was an active member of Bentleyville United Methodist Church, Bentleyville United Methodist Women, Asbury Heights Auxiliary, and Bentleyville Democratic Women’s Club. Devoted wife, mother, and grandmother she enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, and embroidery.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, John Petrisek; three daughters, Virginia G. Roberts of Washington, PA, Nancy M. Bular and Joan E. Tiberie and a son John E. Petrisek and his wife Karlene all of Bentleyville, PA.

Beloved grandmother of Stacy E. Roberts Baldwin of Mesa, AZ; Donna M. Bular (Dean) Painter of Murrysville, PA; Jesse D. (Mary) Roberts of Mesa AZ; Jane L. Bular of Fort Lauderdale, FL; Janice L. Bular of Dallas TX; John M. (Melissa) Petrisek of Ellsworth, PA; Janet A. Petrisek (John) Reed of Charleroi, PA.

Great-grandmother of Ryan Wallace, Alan and Bradley Baldwin; Grace and Nathanial Painter; Alec and Tyler Roberts; Ali and Owen Petrisek; Katie and Kelli Reed.

She is also survived by one sister Eva Mae Merrill of Santa Clara, California. Her sisters Zella Britton, Cartha Hludzik, Yvonne Brancolini, and two brothers Paul and Zane Lee Deneen preceded her in death.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main St., Bentleyville, where services will be held on Friday, August 5, 2005 at a time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to the Bentleyville United Methodist Church, 712 Main St., Bentleyville, PA 15314 or the Bentleyville Public Library, 931 Main St., Bentleyville, PA 15314.
