Dolores R. Sheets
Longtime bank teller was gardener, avid reader
Dolores R. Sheets, 76, of Beallsville, died Monday, July 12, 2010, in Washington Hospital.
She was born June 7, 1934, in Granville, a daughter of the late Steve and Rose Kuruc Micjan.
Mrs. Sheets was a 1952 graduate of Ellsworth High School and a lifelong member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Richeyville.
For more than 25 years, she worked as a bank teller in First National and Gallatin Bank branches in Marianna, Brownsville, Fredericktown and Richeyville.
She enjoyed gardening, flowers and collectibles and was an avid reader.
On October 8, 1955, she married Robert E. Sheets, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, David S. Sheets (Tammy) and Dr. Timothy A. Sheets, both of Richeyville; three grandchildren, Brandi, Brianne and Brittany Sheets; two brothers, Jerry Micjan of Coal Center and Michael Micjan of Lone Pine; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where a blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 15, followed at 11 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev.
