Robert E. "Bob" Sheets, 76, of Beallsville, died Thursday, October 4, 2012, in Residence at Hilltop, Monongahela.

He was born February 26, 1936, in Beallsville, a son of the late Alfred and Rena Helmick Sheets.

From 1966 to 1988, he was employed as a general foreman at Penn Birmingham Bolt Co., and from 1988 to 1992, he was employed by Richey Metals.

Mr. Sheets was a member of F&AM Lodge 237 in Beallsville, Uniontown Lodge of Perfection, Valley of Uniontown and Gourgas Lodge of Perfection, Valley of Pittsburgh. He also was a member of Richeyville Volunteer Fire Company.

He enjoyed golf.

On October 8, 1955, he married Dolores Micjan, who died July 12, 2010.

Surviving are two sons, David Sheets (Tammy) of Richeyville and Timothy Sheets of Beallsville; three grandchildren, Brandi, Brianne and Brittany Sheets; three brothers, Luther Sheets (Barbara) of St. Augustine, Fla., Benjamin Sheets of the state of California and Bruce Sheets of Beallsville; a sister, Dawn Regets of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to his wife, are two brothers, Jack and William Sheets, and a sister, Jessie Hughes.

Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m., the time of services, Saturday, October 6, in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, with Pastor Brian Carroll and Pastor James Markley officiating. Interment will be private. Other services will be held at 6:30 p.m. by Richeyville Volunteer Fire Company and Masonic services will be conducted at 7 p.m. by F&AM Lodge 237 of Beallsville in the funeral home.
