Howard H. Deems, 95 of Bridgeville, PA died Friday August 24, 2007 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born May 7, 1912 in West Pike Run Twp. a son of the late James Harry and Anna E. Bane Deems.
Mr. Deems was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. 
Mr. Deems retired in 1975 as a Metallurgist from the Universal Cyclops Corp., Bridgeville with 30 years of service.
He was a member of the United Steel Workers Local 178, American Legion Post 54 of Bridgeville, V.F.W. Post 147, Washington, Hawkins Home Post 147 and S.O.A.R..
On June 27, 1934 he married Mildred M. Beall Deems of Bridgeville, who survives.
Deceased are two brothers – Merle Allen and Harvey Deems; One sister – Kathryn Grimm Pitzer.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9pm Monday and from 1 to 2pm, the hour of service, Tuesday August 28, 2007 in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA. Rev. Mike Tidd will officiate. Interment will be in the Beallsville Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded by the Hancock-McCune-Horn American Legion Post 705, Centerville.
