Alvin C. Spindler

Alvin Curtis Spindler, 72, chairman of the board of the Edgewood Library and Community House, died in his home, 431 Maple Avenue, Edgewood, yesterday.
He practiced law for 25 years after serving as principal of schools of Claysville, PA., following his graduation from Washington & Jefferson and Ann Arbor Law School. Lately he had been interested in oil. It was through his effotd that the Edgewood Library and Community House was planned and completed in 1916. Funeral services will be held at the home at noon tomorrow, with interment in Beallsville, PA. He is survived by his widow, Sarah May Spindler.
