Mary Martha Zollars Thompson, 79 of Bentleyville, PA died April 10, 2004 in Port Orange Nusing and Rehabilation Center, Port Orange, FL. She was born September 10, 1924 in Ellsworth, PA a daughter of Sheldon and Almeda Wilson Zollars. She was a 1940 graduate of Ellsworth High School and the Douglas School of Business in Charleroi, PA. Mrs. Thompson was a secretary in the Ellsworth School system from 1942 to 1972, a member of Bentleyville United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the Elizabeth Sunday School Class and held various church offices for many years. She was co-owner of Thompson Ford in Bentleyville with William L. Thompson having purchased the Bell Motor Co. in Bentleyville in 1976. She retired in 1988. Surviving is her husband William Thompson of Bentleyville, PA. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Monday, April 26, 2004 in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, PA where services will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. David Zona officiating. Interment will be in the Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville, PA.
