OBITUARY

Evelyn J. Miller, 83, of Beallsville, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018, in her home.

She was born June 3, 1934, in Pricedale, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Sinetta Andrako.

Evelyn was a 1953 graduate of Rostraver High School.

She retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Monessen Works after 22 years of service and was a member of United Steel Workers of America.

Mrs. Miller attended the former Richeyville Community Church for a number of years.

Always interested in fitness, she visited a gym three to four times a week and was an avid reader.

She met monthly with a group of former majorettes from her high school days and was active with various groups trying to raise funds for various veterans' causes.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Naomi Chapter of Women, a group dedicated to helping veterans.

On November 1, 1957, she married William Miller, who died October 30, 1971.

Surviving are two children, Kim Bissett (Bob) of Perryopolis and Matthew Miller (Mary) of Beallsville; two grandchildren, Kelly Miller and Jamie Bissett McElfresh (Chadd); two great-grandchildren, Kylee Bissett and Christopher Bradley McElfresh; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are grandson Christopher Shawn Bissett and brother George Andrako.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 1, with Pastor Gary J. Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
