OBITUARY

Mildred “Mitzi” Bonazzoli, 84, of Ellsworth died Thursday September 14, 2006 in the Bentleyville Personal Care following a lengthy illness.
She was born April 22, 1923 in Yukon, Pa. a daughter of the late Michael and Barbara Persha Persin.
Mrs. Bonazzoli was co-owner and operator of Bonazzoli’s General Store in Ellsworth for over 50 years before retiring.
She had been a lifetime member of the Ave Maria Roman Catholic Parish of Bentleyville, and also a member of, the Ave Maria Women’s Guild, Catholic Daughters of America Court #1675, and the Sons of Italy #609 of Cokeburg.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bonazzoli was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased in addition to her parents are her husband, Alfred “Freddie” Bonazolli who died March 11, 1993, five brothers, Frank Persin, John Persin, Anthony Persin, Michael Persin II, & Michael Persin III, and two sisters, Veronica Brodacki & Anna Marshall.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main St., Bentleyville, Pa. where prayers will be said at 8:30am Saturday September 16, 2006 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am in the Ave Maria Roman Catholic Church, Bentleyville with Rev. Edwin J. Wichman as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Beallsville Cemetery. The Catholic Daughters of America and the Ave Maria Women’s Guild will recite the rosary Friday at 7:00pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to: Ave Maria Parish, 126 Church St., Bentleyville, Pa. 15314 or Medi Home Hospice, 168 W. Chestnut St., Suite 19 Jefferson Court Plaza, Washington, Pa. 15301.
