Rose Marie Cargine Rusilko

Cokeburg Junction homemaker

Rose Marie “Tootsie” Cargine Rusilko, 82, formerly of Cokeburg Junction, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010, in Washington Hospital.

She was born January 12, 1928, in Washington, a daughter of Pete and Mamie Barney Cargine.

She was Catholic and a homemaker.

On July 12, 1946, in Washington, she married Alex “Stush” Rusilko Sr., who died October 15, 2001.

Surviving are five sons, Terry L. Rusilko (Thelma), Allen “Tex” Rusilko (Agnes), Alex “Tiny” Rusilko Jr. and Wetzel Rusilko, all of Cokeburg Junction, and Clinton Rusilko (Kimberly) of Washington; two daughters, Joyce Ann Rusilko Sumner (Robert) of Eighty Four and Rebecca Mathers (Sean) of Fallowfield Township; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Pete “Bubby” Cargine Jr. of Washington; a sister, Mary “Bootsie” Perniece of Melrose Park, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a son, Frank Rusilko; brothers Frank “Picky” Cargine and John Cargine; and a sister, Angeline “Poochie” Cargine Horne.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a blessing service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, December 11, with the Rev.
