Lois Ikard, 51, of Washington, DC, born June 2, 1962, in Washington County Pennsylvania, entered into eternal rest in the nearer presence of God on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 in Providence Hospital, Washington, DC, surrounded by her family.
Lois was the daughter of John Ikard, North Royalton, OH and the late Patricia Jefferson Ikard. Her mother, sister Cheryl Lynn Ikard, and maternal grandparents William and Kathryn Jefferson preceded her in death.
She is survived by her father, John Ikard; sister Felicia Gannon; four maternal aunts: Kathryn Jones, Loretta (Paul) Taylor, Joyce (Ossie Sr.) White, and Linda Washington; maternal great uncle, John Taylor; niece, Asher (Chelsea Noelle) and nephew, Matthew; cousins, Norman Franklin, Gordon Jones, Steven Franklin, Bryan Jones, William Jefferson III, Christine Taylor, Paul Taylor II, Shaynna White, Ossie White, Jr., Monique Washington, and Gabrielle Washington, Richard, Randy, and William Carlock; and a host of great cousins and friends.
She will be laid to rest in Beallsville Cemetery following visitation at 10:00 am and funeral services at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 16 at Greenlee Funeral Home in Bentleyville, PA, with Pastor Layman Davis of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Bentleyville, PA., officiating.
