Mildred Inez LeCorchick Tworzydlo

Enjoyed bowling, cooking, baking and gardening

Mildred Inez LeCorchick Tworzydlo, 91, of Richeyville, died Friday, September 16, 2011, in Donnell House, Washington.

She was born April 26, 1920, in Farmville, Va., a daughter of the late Eunice Phillips Covington Redd and Herbert Covington.

A homemaker, Mrs. Tworzydlo was a member of Centerville United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the former Richeyville Women’s Club and a member of the Women’s Club Bowling League.

She enjoyed bowling, cooking, baking, gardening and spending time with her family.

On March 6, 1971, she married Walter E. Tworzydlo, who survives.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Karen A. Gonzales (Marion C.) of Katy, Texas, and Janet L. Regan (Daniel) of McCandless Township; six grandchildren, Dawn Scheve (Chris), Kristin Dry (Jim) and Tres Kennedy (Shelby), all of Katy, Daniel Regan Jr. (Kim) of Hartford, Conn., Matthew Regan of Pittsburgh and Maggie St. Clair (Michael) of Charlotte, N.C.; eight great-grandchildren, Katie and Christopher Scheve, Parker and Grace Dry, Brayden and Addison Kennedy, and Elizabeth and Hayden Regan; twin sister Irene Spurlock of Farmville, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her first husband, Robert A. LeCorchick, who died June 28, 1969, and two brothers, Herbert and Harold Covington.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 21, with Pastor Larry Corner officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be made to Donnell House c/o Hospice Care of the Washington Hospital, 155 Wilson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
