OBITUARY

James Russell Baker, 48, of 212 Ninth Street, Charleroi, died suddenly of a heart attack while at work at Corning Glass Works, Charleroi, Monday, December 13, 1955 at 2:10 p.m. He was born in Centerville, October 5, 1907, a son of the late Frank L. and Jennie Morton Baker. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Charleroi and the American Legion Post no. 22. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He was a life time resident of Charleroi and worked in the shipping department of Corning Glass, Charleroi plant. Surviving are two brothers, Paul M. Baker and L. Lloyd Baker, both of Charleroi; two sisters, Mabel, wife of Earl Thayer, Unionville, BA., and Jane, wife of Henry Galloway, Monongahela, R.D.2.
