Anna Margaret Kreamcheck, 83 of Fredericktown, PA (Centerville Borough) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 in Southmont of Presbyterian Senior Care, Washington, PA.
She was born February 26, 1932 in Brownsville, PA a daughter of the late John and Helen Kapolka Veroski.
Ann was a resident of the Fredericktown area for her entire life. She graduated from Centerville High School in 1950 and began her first career as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Snyder in Brownsville, PA.
Then, it was love at first sight when she met “Big Midge”” Kreamcheck at the baseball diamond in Vestaburg. After a wedding on May 2, 1954, Ann’s next career was as a wife and mother in addition to raising chickens and pigs and planting a huge garden from which she canned and preserved many things.
Always putting others first, Ann became caregiver for her husband as he suffered from rheumatoid arthritis. Big Midge passed away on January 16, 1982 and then Ann embarked on her next career as a housekeeper and cook at the Parish of St. Oliver Plunkett in Fredericktown. She retired after 21 years of service.
Ann enjoyed her retirement surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family members.
She found companionship with her special friend, John Stefanik. Ann enjoyed going to her favorite restaurants and watching her favorite “cowboy” movies.
Ann is survived by her son Ed Kreamcheck and his wife Deneane of Fredericktown, PA; daughter Marie Meeks and her husband Michael of Claysville, PA; two grandchildren, Shannon Kreamcheck and fiancé Adam Green and John Michael Kreamcheck and his wife Ashley; two great grandchildren, Kaylee and Adriana Green; two sisters, Norma Kranchak and her husband Alex of Clearwater, FL and Lorraine Shiroke and her husband Andy of Broadview Heights, OH and special nephews Jack Santo and his wife Vickie and Jason Shiroke and his wife Mary and special niece, Christine Shiroke.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 8 P.M. in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, PA where services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 26, 2015 with Rev. Ford Campbell officiating. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville, PA. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to a charity of one’s choice.
