OBITUARY

William "Bill" Micsky, 81, of Washington, Pa. formerly of Richeyville and Deemston died Sunday April 11, 2004 in Washington Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born on January 30, 1923 in Daisytown, Pa. a son of the late William and Margaret Javorsky Micsky.
Mr. Micsky had been a coal miner and worked for J&L Steel/Coal Division at their Vesta #4 and Shannopin Mines. He started his career as a laborer and later became assistant mine foreman and retired as Mine Superintendent of Vesta #4 in 1979 after 40 years service.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church of Washington, the William Penn Fraternal Organization and the Hungarian Club of Daisytown. Following his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and his greatest pleasure was attending various activities of his grandchildren. He was also a fan of Hungarian music especially that of the violin. 
On June 17, 1944 he married Helen Debreczeni who survives and together they would have celebrated 60 years of marriage.
Also surviving are two sons, William A. Micsky and his wife Jill of Doylestown, Pa. and Gerald J. Micsky and his wife Nancy of Kittanning, four grandchildren, Brad, Jeff, Leanne, Jenna Micsky, and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addittion to his parents are six sisters, Margaret Seibel, Bertha Siegal, Julia Fargo, Mary Van Landingham, Elizabeth Bell, Hazel Sawayda, and two brothers, Andrew and Joseph Micsky. He was the last of his immediate family.
Friends will be received from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Tuesday in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Rt. 40 Beallsville, where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday April 14, 2004 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association,10 Duff Road, Suite 304, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15235-3207.
