OBITUARY

Mary A. Marchezak

Mary A. Marchezak, 83, of Bentleyville died at 6:30pm on Monday May 22, 2006 in the Henry Clay Villa of Farmington, Pa. following a lengthy illness. She was born January 19, 1923 in Ellsworth a daughter of the late John and Mary Pavlick Stanek Sr. Mrs. Marchezak was a 1941 graduate of Ellsworth High School and a longtime member of the Ave Maria Roman Catholic Parish of Bentleyville. She was also a member of Women's Auxiliary Club of Somerset Twp., a 45 year member of the friends club, and was a former member of the Ellsworth Homemakers. She is survived by two sons, Richard G. Marchezak and his wife Laura belle of Speers Hill-Charleroi, Pa., Bradley G. Marchezak of Masontown, Pa., one daughter, Sandra L. Michael and her husband Larry of Clear Spring, Md., two brothers, Joseph Stanek of Bentleyville, John Stanek of Bonita Springs, Fla., seven grandchildren, Bradley G. Marchezak of Masontown, Neva-Lee Marchezak Ravotti of Wexford, Timothy Scott Michael of Hagerstown, Md., Jillian Marchezak Jochum of Destin, Fla., Jeffrey Ryan Michael of Clear Spring, Md., Christopher Todd Michael of Clear Spring, Md., Ashley Ann Marchezak of Masontown, Scott Bradley George Marchezak of Masontown and two great grandchildren, Reis A. Ravotti, and Carter R. Ravotti and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents are her husband, George Marchezak Jr. who died April 8, 1996, three brothers, Coleman, Paul, and Frank J. Stanek, and one sister, Helen Konek. Friends will be received from 7-9pm Wednesday and from 2-4pm and 6-9pm on Thursday in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main St. Bentleyville, where prayers will be said at 12:30pm on Friday May 26, 2006 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00pm in the Ave Maria Roman Catholic Church in Bentleyville with Rev. John B. Lendvai as celebrant. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery. memorial contributions may be made to: American Diabetes Association, Pittsburgh office, 300 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 602, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15235.
