OBITUARY

Clinton H. Walters, 85 of Fredericktown, PA died Monday, May 4, 2015 in Lasosky’s Personal Care Home, Clarksville, PA.
He was born March 20, 1930 in Deemston, a son of the late Henry and Isabelle Philp Walters.
Mr. Walters was a 1949 graduate of Centerville High School. 
He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War serving from 1952 to 1953. For his service he was awarded the Army of Occupation Medal Germany and the National Defense Service Medal. 
Mr. Walters was a retired employee of the A&P (Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company) with 30 years of service. He worked as a produce manager in stores located in Fredericktown, Burgettstown and South Hills. He was also employed at the Belle Vernon Shop and Save.
He was a lifetime member of the East Beth Baptist Church, Deemston and the Hanson-Cole American Legion Post #391, Fredericktown, PA.
On August 28, 1957 he married Elizabeth P. Harbaugh Walters who passed away, August 18, 2010. They celebrated 49 years of marriage.
Surviving is a son, David Walters of Deemston and a daughter Christine Nelson of Fredericktown, PA; three grandchildren, Amanda Walters, Jessica Mauro and Cyler Walters; four great grandchildren, two brothers, William Walters of Gary, IN, John Walters of Wheeling, WV and a sister, Sandra of Niagara Falls, NY.
Deceased in addition to his parents and wife is a daughter, Nancy Walters who died in infancy and a grandson, William Steven Mahle II.

Friends will be received Wednesday, May 6, 2015 in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, PA from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., the hour of service with Pastor James Cannon officiating. Interment will be private in Beallsville Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded by Hanson-Cole American Legion Post #391, Fredericktown.
