OBITUARY

Kathryn Ruth (Kay) Shumaker, 90, of Canonsburg formerly of Eighty Four died unexpectedly Monday October 13, 2008 in Canonsburg General Hospital.
She was born July 29, 1918 in Cokeburg a daughter of the late Tom and Anna Zitkovitch Shronovich.
Mrs. Shumaker was a homemaker and a life long member of the Ave Maria Roman Catholic Parish of Bentleyville. She was also a member of the St. George Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge #354 of Cokeburg and enjoyed making afghans, working word puzzles and tending to her flowers.
On May 15, 1943 she married Harry E. Shumaker who preceded her in death on September 17, 2007.
Surviving is a daughter, Kathleen Armenini and her husband Lawrence of Canonsburg with whom she made her home, one brother, Frank Shronovich of Eighty Four, one granddaughter, Gina Armenini, one grandson, Michael Armenini and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are two infant grandsons, two brothers, Tom and George Shronovich and two sisters, Mary Lustik and Agnes Gruhalla.
Friends will be received from 4-8pm Tuesday in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main St. Bentleyville where prayers will be said at 9:30am Wednesday October 15, 2008 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in the Ave Maria R.C. Church, Bentleyville with Rev. Gary Krummert as Celebrant. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery.
