Violet “Dolly” Meyers, 82 of Richeyville, PA passed away Monday January 18, 2016 in the Donnell House, Washington.
She was born July 27, 1933 in Centerville Boro. a daughter of the late William and Grace Lash Ford.
For many years she worked as a cook for various local businesses.
Dolly was a long time faithful member of the Richeyville Community Church and served as a former Brownie and Girl Scout Leader in Richeyville.
She enjoyed crocheting, baking and her weekly visits to the Marianna Center. Her greatest enjoyment was being a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
On November 12, 1952 she married John “Chubbs” Meyers who died November 17, 1991.
Surviving are three children, John D. Meyers (Barb) of West Brownsville, PA, William T. Meyers (Debbie) of Richeyville and Marsha Sweany (Bob) of Deemston; Son in law, Dan Kudlac of Ellsworth; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two brothers, William Ford (Nancy) of Twinsburg, OH and S. Lloyd Ford (Ellen) of Richeyville; one sister, Anne DeLeonardo of New Hartford, NY: several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to parents and husband is a daughter, Elizabeth “Joyce” Kudlac who passed away April 1, 2015; four sisters, Agnes Troyan, Grace McWilliams, Virginia Fowkes and Mabel Yanosky.

Friends will be received Thursday January 21, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the time of services, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main St. Beallsville with Pastor Andy Scott officiating. 
Interment will be private.
