OBITUARY

Teresa A. Coulter, 99 of Washington, PA formerly of Vestaburg, PA died Monday, June 9, 2014 in Southmont of Presbyterian Senior Care, Washington, PA.
She was born April 6, 1915 in Donora, PA a daughter of the late Angelo and Mary Dare Mazzer.
Mrs. Coulter retired from the Vestaburg Post Office after 20 years of service. 
She was a very active, lifelong member of the former Vestaburg United Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder and taught Sunday school for many years. She was a member of the former Deemston Grange #1372 where she was named Citizen of the Year in 1983. She was a Charter Member of the Beth Center Senior Citizen’s Center where she twice served as President and also past President of the Travel Club of the center and was named as their Volunteer of the Year. Teresa was also a member of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Area Agency on Aging’s Nutrition Advisory Council and was active delivering Meals on Wheels for the Center. She was named Humanitarian of the Year by the Washington County Area Agency on Aging and was a member of the Sub Area Council of Aging Services for Washington County.
Mrs. Coulter taught many people crocheting and knitting. She also enjoyed playing cards and was known for her baking particularly, Italian Biscotti and Pizzelles. 
On June 5, 1936 she married George “Max” Coulter who died January 6, 1983.
Surviving are many loving nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are two sisters, Katherine Salvitti and Inez Franks and two brothers, Dominic and Larry Mazzer. She was the last of her immediate family.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, PA where services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 13, 2014 with Rev. Ford Campbell officiating. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolent Care Fund, c/o Southminister Place, 880 South Main Street, Washington, PA 15301.
