OBITUARY

William Warren “Peanut” Miller, Jr., 50 of Beallsville, PA died unexpectedly, Sunday, April 4, 2010 in Washington Co. Hospital, Hagerstown, MD.
He was born November 7, 1959 in Waynesburg, PA the beloved son of Margaret Ramsey Miller and William W. Miller, Sr. of Beallsville who survive.
Mr. Miller was a 1977 graduate of Beth Center High School where he was an outstanding football player. He played with the 1975 WPIAL Century Conference Championship Team.
He served from 1986 to 1990 with the U. S. Army in Ft. Riley, KS as a Gunnery Sergeant. From 1990 to 1997 he served with the PA National Guard, Pittsburgh.
He was a member of the Hanson Cole American Legion Post 391, Fredericktown, PA and the Richeyville Miners Club.
He attended Slippery Rock University, California University of PA and Penn Commercial Business School.
Mr. Miller was employed by Intermediate Unit 1in Coal Center, PA. as a Student Information Specialist.
Warren enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, camping and was a football enthusiast.
Surviving in addition to his parents are three sons, Alexander William Miller of Washington, PA, Jason Mackey (Quinn) of Hagerstown, MD and Michael Letham of Washington, PA; two daughters, Emily Mackey of California, PA and Savannah Letham of Washington, PA; two sisters, Tara Bogol (Mike) and Markay McKee (Mark) both of Vestaburg, PA; five nieces and nephews, Christopher Miller, Rebecca Babeji, Bryan McKee, Max Bogol and Paige Bogol and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 6 to 8 P.M. and Thursday from 3 to 8 P.M. in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, PA where services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 9, 2010 with Pastor Brian Carroll officiating. Full military rites will be accorded by the Hanson Cole American Legion Post 391, Fredericktown.
