Daugherty Shiflet, age 78, of Carmichaels, Pa., and formerly of Pittsburgh, Pa., who had been an executive secretary for Westinghouse Research and Development in Churchill (Pittsburgh), Pa., also worked retail sales at the Bon-Ton in Uniontown, Pa., and was born in East Fredericktown, Pa., died at 9:40 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2005, in Forbes Hospice, Pittsburgh, Pa.
