 Jonathan Wallace Winnett, born on July 12, 1814, in Fallowfield Twp., Washington County, Pa., a son of Jonathan and Mary Wallace Winnett.  He died of old age on Dec. 15, 1910, in Prosperity, Washington County, Pa.  He married Mary Beadel around 1835 and Catherine Gamble around 1852.  His children were Hiram Winnett, Elizabeth Winnett McDonough, Mary Winnett, Margery Winnett Weir, Dr. Finley Winnett, and Levi Gamble Winnett.  He outlived all of them.  He worked as a farmer and cooper in Fallowfield Twp., in Somerset Twp. near Vanceville, and in W. Bethlehem Twp. (later N. Bethlehem Twp.) near Scenery Hill.
