OBITUARY

Thomas L. (Shibo) Shives 91, of McMurray, Pa passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016
in Country Meadows, Bridgeville.
He was born December 20, 1924 in Beallsville, Pa a son of the late Thomas P. and Edna B. Hickman Shives.
Mr. Shives was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II spending the bulk of the war in the Pacific Theatre and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Shibo owned and operated the Greentree Barber Shop for 35 years retiring in 1989.
Mr. Shives loved baseball and played and coached in various local leagues in his younger years even pitching a no hitter. He was a genuine sports enthusiast and particularly enjoyed bowling and horseshoes.
On March 9, 1951 he married Dolores Comodor Shives who survives. They celebrated 65 years of marriage.
Surviving is a daughter Janet L. Angott (Frank Sr.) of Washington, PA; four grandchildren, Frank Angott Jr., Timothy Angott, Kathy Leech and Vicki Dietrich; seven great grandchildren. 

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Friday in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA where services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 10 AM with Rev. Andrew Cobucci officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
