Anna Rosa Marinelli, died on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Presbyterian Senior Care in Washington, PA.

          She leaves her son, Dr. Robert Marinelli & wife Irene of Morgantown, WV & seven grandchildren & their spouses: Robert & Melissa Marinelli of Morgantown WV, Dr. Elizabeth & Matthew Laster of South Lake Tahoe, CA, James Marinelli & Dr. EirAnne Edgar of Traverse City, MI, Noelle & Brian Wolfe of Mt. Lebanon, PA, Christopher & Jennifer Marinelli of Allison Park, PA , Patrick & Michelle Oreski of Ontario, PA & Marin Oreski of Jacksonville FL. In addition to her 10 great grandchildren, she had many close friends & relatives including special friends, Marie Bozich of Cokeburg, Jessie Perri of Washington, PA & Dr. Art Dell Orto of Hardwich, MA.

          She was preceded in death by her husband, Domenick, son James, daughter Donna Lee & 3 brothers.

          She was born in San Stefano del Sessanio, Italy on September 4, 1913 & immigrated to Ellsworth PA in 1937. She moved to Cokeburg in 1947 & lived there until moving to Presbyterian Senior Care in 2013.

          She was a lifelong homemaker who loved to cook, garden & provide loving care for her children & grandchildren. Her homemade ravioli, pasta & other Italian foods could not be matched.

          She was a long time member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Bentleyville, PA where she was active in the Rosary Altar Society and Catholic Daughters.         Special acknowledgement is given to both the staff at Presbyterian Senior Care and, in the last few weeks of her life, to Family Hospice for their compassionate care.

          In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be sent to St. Katharine Drexel Parish, 126 Church Street, Bentleyville, PA 15314 and Presbyterian Senior Care, 835 South Main Street, Washington, PA 15301.    

          Friends will be received Monday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the Greenlee Funeral Home 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA where a prayer service will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Katharine Drexel Parish Bentleyville Campus with Rev.
