Ruth E. Hill, 71 of Beallsville, PA died Sunday, March 10, 2013 in the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA after a sudden illness.
She was born March 28, 1941 in Washington, PA a daughter of the late James Clinton and Elizabeth Christina Horn Noble.
A homemaker, Mrs. Hill was a member of the Beallsville United Methodist Church and the Miner’s Club of Richeyville.
Mrs. Hill was a very friendly and outgoing person who loved to laugh. She enjoyed dancing and was considered the number one fan of the band Black Dog Hollow. Camping at Big Bear Camp Grounds in Bruceton Mills, WV and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her much enjoyment.
On August 24, 1957 she married Jack R. Hill, Sr. who died August 17, 2009.
Surviving are four children, Jack R. Hill, Jr. (Renee) of Corpus Christi, TX, Christy Rohrer (Mark) of Washington, PA, Mary Zuchowski of Beallsville, PA and Thomas Hill (Jackie) of Richeyville, PA; eleven grandchildren, Justin Hill (Crystal), Shanelle Veteto (Greg), Robin Rohrer, Abby Koss (Dave), Matthew Rohrer (Lindsey), Haley Bowen (John), Jeffrey Zuchowski, Drew Zuchowski, Mary Beth Hill, Alexis Hill and Thomas Hill, Jr. and nine great grandchildren.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, PA where services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Brian Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville, PA.
