OBITUARY

Ann McClosky, 88, of Fredericktown (Deemston Borough), passed away Monday, September 10, 2018, in TownView Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.

She was born March 2, 1930, in Czechoslovakia, a daughter of the late Michael and Julia Huddock Manovsky.

A homemaker, she was also employed in the dispensary at Centerville Clinic.

She was very religious and a faithful member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Fredericktown campus, since 1950. She was also a faithful 50-year member of its former Christian Mothers.

Ann was also a member of Beth-Center Senior Citizens.

Mrs. McClosky dearly loved her grandchildren and would always help anyone in need. She also enjoyed baking, crocheting and yardwork.

Surviving are three children, Susan Kloss of Bradenton, Fla., Joseph "Hudgie" McClosky (Sharon) of Washington and Theresa Sharratt (Daryl) of Zebulon, N.C.; six grandchildren, Joel McClosky, Jason McClosky, Jaclyn Sharratt-Smith, Christine Kloss, Sarah McClosky and Justin Sharratt; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Adele Manovsky of New York; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are her husband, Louis W. McClosky, who died November 5, 1985, and a brother, Michael Manovsky.

Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Greenlee's Fredericktown Funeral Home Ltd., 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, where prayers will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 20, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Fredericktown campus, with the Rev. Edward L. Yuhas, administrator, officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contribution be made to Activities Department at TownView Health and Rehabilitation Center, 300 Barr Street, Canonsburg, PA 15317.
