OBITUARY

Matriarch of Richeyville

Frances M. Pagac, 94 of Richeyville, PA died peacefully Thursday January 31, 2013 with her family at her side. 
She was born August 9, 1918 in Crescent Heights, PA a daughter of the late Dominic and Helena Ozellis Hausher. 
Frances and Frank B. Pagac met at the Rosefield Skating Rink in Richeyville, PA in 1936. A courtship ensued, and they were united in marriage on January 30, 1937 in the St. Michaels R.C. Church Fredericktown. 
Mrs. Pagac was a resident of Richeyville since 1937. She lived in house 266 until she and her husband purchased the Blue Diamond Bar and Grill in 1952. Together they ran the business for over 50 years. 
Frances was a woman (ahead of her time). She drove a big Chevy dump truck with a 22 foot wheel base and standard transmission when women of that time did not even drive. She will always be remembered for her kind ways and generous hospitality.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband Frank B. Pagac; one son Francis “Sonny” Pagac; one grandson Freddie Scott Hoak; three sisters Helen Segzda, Anne Mullen, and Josephine Lemenovich; one brother Dominic Hausher. 
Surviving are three children, Leon Pagac (Pinky), Fred Pagac (Bernie), and Toni Hoak (Frank) four granddaughters; Cindy and Christy Pagac, Amy Hoak Brown (Sonny), and Jennifer Pagac Wieden (Adam); two grandsons; Frank A. Hoak (Holly) and Freddie Pagac (Stephanie); “Old Bubba”, as the great grandchildren called her, adored all eleven of them - Kelsey Hoak, Nico Brown, Gunnar Hoak, Londyn Brown, Griffin Hoak, Carrington Brown, Lorenzo Brown, Izzy Wieden, Allie Wieden, A.J. Wieden, and Frederick Landon Pagac; one brother; Howard “Lenny” Hausher (Marge); Sister-in-law Toots Pagac, brothers-in-law; Andy Pagac (Roberta), Eddie Pagac; many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Sunday in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA. Family and friends are asked to gather at 10 AM Monday February 4, 2013 in the St. Agnes R.C. Church Richeyville, for a Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Edward Yuhas as celebrant. All are welcome and encouraged to attend this Mass to celebrate Mrs. Pagac’s life. Private Interment will be held in Beallsville Cemetery. The family requests Memorial Contributions be made to the St. Agnes R.C. Church, 126 Church St. Bentleyville, PA 15314.
