Helen S. Pagac, 92, of Richeyville, PA, died Tuesday, February 24th, 2009, in the home of her niece, Lois DiGuglielmo.

She was born August 28th, 1916 in Brownsville, PA, a daughter of the late John and Maude Childs Minor.

Mrs. Pagac worked at the Brownsville Hardware store for many years, and also Ernie’s Hardware, from where she retired.

She enjoyed playing bingo in and around the Mon Valley area. She always looked forward to visiting with and cooking for family and friends.

Surviving is one brother- Arthur “Pete” Minor of Brownsville; a niece- Lois DiGuglielmo and her husband Ron, of Grindstone; a nephew- Louis Sutton and his wife Debbie, of Portsmouth, VA; many other nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, is her husband Joseph Pagac, who died August 21st, 2001; one brother- John Minor; and four sisters- Martha Easter, Elizabeth Henck, Dorothy Dekteroff, and Clara Sutton.

Friends will be received from 1-3 and 5-8 PM Friday in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 28th, 2009 with Pastor Todd Rutherford officiating. Interment will follow in the Beallsville Cemetery.
