OBITUARY

Frank C. Hoak, 71 of Richeyville, PA died peacefully, Thursday October 10, 2013 in his home.
He was born October 1, 1942 in Denbo, PA a son of the late Frank and Minnie Voso Hoak.
Mr. Hoak was a proud 1960 graduate of Beth-Center High School
From 1964 to 1966 he served with the United States Army Co. B, 2nd Battalion of the 6th Infantry.
In 1997, after 33 years of service, Frank retired as the General Manager of the Tri-County Joint Municipal Authority, Fredericktown. For the past 46 years he has operated the Blue Diamond Grill in Richeyville. For several of his working years, he was formerly employed by the Fox Grocery Co. of Belle Vernon.
Mr. Hoak was a member of the St. Agnes R.C. Church, Richeyville, the Hancock-McCune-Horne American Legion Post 705 Centerville, Nemacolin Country Club and the Beth-Center Boosters Club. To show their appreciation, the Beth-Center Football Team dedicated their most recent game against Frazier High School to honor Frank’s dedication and commitment to their program. He was a former member of the United Steel Workers of America, District 10 Local 3403.
On June 13, 1964 he married Antoinette “Toni” Pagac Hoak in the St. Agnes Church, Richeyville. During their 49 years of marriage, Frank devoted his life to his wife, children and grandchildren. He would often say to his wife Toni that “spark” is still there babe, till we meet again. Hoakie, with that “twinkle in his eye” and his calm and unassuming demeanor, made the lives of many people much brighter. He made his family feel loved and secure.
Along with working, he coached his sons and their friend’s teams for many years. He was an exemplary role model for the boys and girls with whom he worked. Hoakie and Toni never missed a school activity, a sporting event or anything that his children and grandchildren were participating in that was possible to attend.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two children – Frank A. Hoak (Holly) of Dublin, OH and Amy Hoak Brown (Sonny) of Richeyville, PA; seven of the most wonderful grandchildren sent by God that enabled Frank to enjoy many life experiences with them. They are - Kelsey Hoak, Nico Brown, Gunnar Hoak, Londyn Brown, Griffin Hoak, Carrington Brown, and Lorenzo “Enzo” Brown, two sisters – Mary Lesako of Brownsville (Low Hill) and Barbara Guntrum (Willy) of Monaca, PA. Brothers in law – Leon Pagac (Pinky) and Fred Pagac (Bernie), Uncles – Len Hausher, Andy Pagac, and Eddie Pagac; Aunts – Toots Pagac and Roberta Pagac several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents is a son Frederick “Freddie” Scott Hoak who died June 17, 1976. Mother and Father in law Frank and Francis Pagac, brothers in law Sonny Pagac and Nick Lesako; one Aunt Marge Hausher.

Friends will be received from 9 AM to 9 PM Monday in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA where a prayer service will be held Tuesday October 15, 2013 at 9:45 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in the St. Agnes RC Church Richeyville, PA. with Rev. Edward Yuhas as celebrant. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Agnes RC Church, c/o 126 Church St. Bentleyville, PA 15314.
