OBITUARY

Glenn P. Anderson II, 57 of Coal Center, PA died Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in his home.
He was born January 25, 1957 in Waynesburg, PA a son of the late Glenn P. Anderson and Valara "Jeanne" Galanda Anderson of Bentleyville, PA who survives.
Mr. Anderson was a 1974 graduate of Bentworth High School and received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the California University of PA in 1978.
He is employed by Pennsylvania American Water Company as a Chemist in the Hays Mine Water Works, Pittsburgh, PA for over 29 years. Prior to that he had been employed by Conoco Coal Research in Library also as a Chemist.

He was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Fredericktown, PA. 
Glenn always put others first and his children and grandchildren were his world. He enjoyed hunting, camping, archery, fishing, dartball, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Pirates and his black lab, Shelby.
On September 22, 1979 he married Brenda J. Clair Anderson who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Joshua John Anderson (Amanda) of Washington, PA and Drew Anderson of Coal Center, PA; three grandchildren, Alyssa, Makenna and Mason Anderson; two sisters, Kathleen Dinardo (Dennis) of Scenery Hill, PA and Denise Ochap (Gene) of Wheeling, WV; three brothers, Michael P. Anderson (Leah) of Monongahela, PA, Stanley L. Anderson (Sheryl) of Scenery Hill, PA and George P. Anderson (Tammy) of Eighty Four, PA; mother-in-law, Patty Clair of Fredericktown and several beloved nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Saturday from 5 to 8 P.M. and Sunday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 P.M. in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, PA where services will be held Monday, May 19, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor James Markley officiating. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville, PA.
