Christopher John Yardis, 49 of Mechanicsburg, PA formerly of Bentleyville died Thursday, August 5, 2010 in his home.
He was born June 17, 1961 in Charleroi, PA a son of the late Andrew Ted Yardis and Sally Scicchitano Yardis of Bentleyville, PA who survives.
Mr. Yardis was a 1979 graduate of Bentworth High School.
He loved his family and friends and all types of football from high school to professional, especially Notre Dame Football.
Surviving in addition to his mother, Sally Yardis are one sister, Cammi Yorke (Edward) of Canonsburg, PA, two nieces, Cristina and Jessica Yorke; uncle and aunt, James and Dolly Scicchitano Davis of Bentleyville, PA; and great aunt and uncle, Patsy and Bucky Bocabello Scicchitano of Bentleyville, PA.
Deceased in addition to his father Ted Yardis who died May 13, 2004 are his maternal grandparents, Vi Cristina Scicchitano and Sinso Scicchitano and his paternal grandparents, Andy and Mollie Haber Yardis.
Funeral services are under the direction of the Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, PA. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
