OBITUARY

Margaret Ann Blazus, 73, of Beallsville, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017, in Donnell House, Washington.
She was born June 21, 1943, in Brownsville, a daughter of the late George and Anna Mihalik Herron.
Mrs. Blazus was a 1961 graduate of California Area High School and received an associate's degree in business from Penn Commercial.
A homemaker, she was previously employed in medical records at St. Alexis Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio.
Mrs. Blazus was a 45-year member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Fredericktown, and a member of Beallsville Historical Society.
She enjoyed quilting, crossword puzzles and playing cards. She especially loved her grandchildren.
On July 13, 1963, she married Michael A. "Mick" Blazus Sr., who survives. They celebrated 53 years of marriage together.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three children, Michael A. Blazus Jr. (Michelle Katko) of Richeyville, Pamela A. Jericho (Jerry) of Charleroi and Maureen McClain of Vestaburg; six grandchildren, Micki Marie Blazus, Gabrielle Brenner, Jonathan Blazus, Amber Marie Jericho, Donald McClain and Brooke Orbash; a great-granddaughter, Cadence Marie Orbash; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are two brothers, Robert and George Lee Herron, and a son-in-law, Don McClain.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where a blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 18, with the Rev. Paul Grunebach as celebrant. Interment will be private.
