George Hill served in the Revolutionary War. He enlisted in the Army May 18th 1782 in Washington County, Pennsylvania in Colonel David Williamson's Battalion, Captain Andrew Swerringer, Lieutenant Charles Bilderbach, Ensign James Morrison.
